Only instructed persons are allowed to correct failures and to change the settings The controller basic ad-
justment takes place in the context of commissioning via the specialist! The operator and contractual partner
is responsible for further corrections and program settings!
Malfunction/display
Cause
Remedy
Heating system is not
warm,
no malfunction
1.
Utility black-out
2.
Energy supply to the
heating circuits is inter-
rupted or too low
3.
Loss of electricity
4.
Hot water priority
Check individual room controls, bleed heat-
ing circuits,
open valves,
check circulation pumps, increase setting
on circulation pump
Check fuses/circuit breakers
Heat pump heats only
hot water and does not
heat, or heats too late
Hot water desired setting is too
high
Check hot water settings
Legionella switching
Use timer program
Install E-rod for hot water
Circulation pipework
Reduce flow and use timer
Hot water heat exchanger
chalked up
Contact heating installer, clean and decal-
cify heat exchanger
Hot water temperature
not reached or no
longer reached
Hot water heat exchanger too
small
Increase heat exchanger size
Heat exchanger is chalked up
Decalcify heat exchanger
Wrong sensor positioning
Correct positioning
Pipework to small
Fit larger pipes
Hot water sensor defect
Replace
Hot water charge pump defect
Replace
Water charge pump perfor-
mance stage too low
Set performance stage higher
3-way valve defect
Replace
Heat pump runs contin-
uously and only pro-
vides low temperatures,
traces of oil in appliance
Refrigerant leakage
Refrigerant circuit not sealed
Switch off heat pump, contact customer
service
Er.91
flow rate too low
The min. flow rate not reached
on the heat pump.
System pressure too low,
check pressure maintenance equipment.
Buffer charge pump defect,
Changeover valve defect
No hot water or heating
system remains cold.
Loss of power
Check the reason
Switch fuses/circuit breakers back on.
