Assembly and handling
All components of the BIOM 4 must be on hand and must be sterile, and must be assem-
bled under sterile conditions.
Choose the appropriate optics
Use the appropriate reduction lens for the operating microscope’s objective.
Select the appropriate front lens for the surgery.

Currently available front lenses:
53606 Hi Res lens, excellent resolution, can be used with highest magnification of
the microscope; the maximum field of view with this lens is approx. 60º, whereas the
