Settings “Miscellaneous”

Settings for management of the database are made on the “Miscellaneous” tab panel.
The patient data management software is available in two different versions, V2.x and
V6.x. The use of both versions in a network should be avoided, because each one works a
little “differently”.
If one or more of the PCs in your network does not meet the system requirements to run
Version 6.x , then the use of both versions in the network is unavoidable.
In that case, just
one
PC with Version 6.x must be configured such that the database is
automatically updated when data for a patient is entered or deleted on a PC on which
Version 2.x is running.
To do this, activate the “Miscellaneous” tab panel for this one Version 6.x only.
Then activate the checkbox
[Update database in a network with GO older than
Version 6.0]
(A tick/ checkmark must be visible in the checkbox).
For all other Versions 6.x, this checkbox
must
be deactivated (no tick/checkmark in the
box).
