USB DMX INTERFACE
INSTALLATION IN PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF WINDOWS
In any case you must download the ohfxusbdmx.inf file from our website:
http://www.ohfx.eu/index.php?idi=en&opc=2&ctg=10&id=53
Save the driver file on your desktop to install it later.
Driver installation in Windows 8 and 8.1
1.
Click SETTINGS on your Windows menu which is hidden on the right side of your screen.
(or Press WIN logo key + C to open the charms bar).

Click on Change PC settings and afterwards click on update and recovery in the menu on
the left.

Click on Recovery and then on Restart Now after selecting Advanced Startup, the PC will
restart.
4.
Click on Troubleshoot, Advanced options, Startup Settings, and Restart. At this screen, press
option 7 to disable driver signature enforcement. Now you can you can install the unsigned
driver. Note that the eff ect only lasts until the PC is restarted again.
5. Connect the USB-DMX device to the computer.

Point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click
Search.

Enter Device Manager in the search box, and click Device Manager.

In the list of hardware categories, double-click the category your device is in and then double-
click the “USB-DMX isolated interface” device
9.
Click the Driver tab and then click Update Driver.
10.
Choose the option “install from a list or specific location” and click on next.
11.
Click on” browse” and select the file “ohfxusbdmx.inf” that you previously downloaded.
Then click on “next”.
12.
Click “finish” when the installation finishes.
13. Restart the computer.
The system may ask for confirmation to install it. You will have to give the confirmation.
Driver installation in Windows 7
1.
Go to Start menu, and click on Restart option on Shuttingdown menú.

Press F8 (repeatedly) after the Advanced Boot Screen then select : Disable driver signature
enforcement. After the operating system loads up, you can install the unsigned driver. Note
that the eff ect only lasts until the PC is restarted again.
3. Connect the USB-DMX device to the computer.
4. Open the “Device manager” (home> Control panel> Hardware and sound> Device manager)
and locate the “USB-DMX isolated interface” device.
5.
Click on the device with the right mouse button and select the option “Update driver”.
6.
Choose the option “install from a list or specific location” and click on “next”.
7.
Click on “browse”, select the file “ohfxusbdmx.inf” that you previously downloaded and click
on “next”.
8.
Click “finish” when the installation finishes.
9. Restart the computer.
