SERIAL COMMUNICATION
The setup of RS232 operating parameters are fully explained in Section 3.8. The physical hardware connection is
explained in in Section 2.2.
The interface enables display data to be sent to a computer or printer. A computer can be used to control some
functions of the indicator using the commands listed in Table 5-1.
5.1 Interface Commands
Communicate to the indicator using the command characters listed in Table 5-1.

Version: print name, software revision and LFT ON (if LFT is set ON).

Global reset to reset all menu settings to the original factory defaults

Commands sent to the Indicator must be terminated with a carriage return (CR) or carriage return-line feed
(CRLF).
•
Data output by the Indicator is always terminated with a carriage return-line feed (CRLF).
•
The xT (preset tare) command is not available when LFT is set to ON.
