With one block
To see how this works, let’s take a braille block. First, push all the dots up –
this is an
empty cell. Hold the block upright in one hand, the front side facing you. Then, using the
index finger of your other hand, push each dot down.
With multiple blocks
First, you need to make all cells “empty” by pushing the dots up on all the blocks and
placing them back on the base. Then, starting from the right-hand side, use your index
finger to push down the dots. If you’ve made a mistake and want to
rewrite, just pick the
block up and make an empty cell.
