HOW TO USE OK BABY’S “NO SHOCK”
HELMET CORRECTLY
REF. 807
Read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for future
reference.
WARNING !!!
NEVER LEAVE THE CHILD UNATTENDED.
AGE: 8 months - 20 months.
HOW TO USE THE HELMET:
Despite being very comfortable, your child will try pulling the NO
SHOCK helmet off the first few times you put it on; this is quite nor
-
mal.
You must keep trying until your child gets used to wearing the helmet.
If you care for your child, you must be patient and keep trying until
he/she accepts it.
1. Open the upper strap and both side straps of the helmet.
2. Slip on the helmet and adjust it to the childʼs head size by fastening
the straps.
3. First adapt the chin strap (a) so that it is not too tight and uncom
-
fortable for the child, but not so loose that the child can pull it off.
After making your adjustments, attach the red tab (b) to the side (c)
of the helmet. Attach and release the red tab (b) to take the helmet
off and to put it back on again. If the helmet gets caught, the red
tab releases automatically when pulled with a force of over 10 kg
approx.
4. Lift the front visor to add further protection for the nasal septum.
WASHING AND LOOKING AFTER THE HELMET:
•
Hand wash at 30°.
•
Do not iron.
•
Do not dry clean.
•
Do not dry in a tumble/spin dryer.
•
Wash the helmet with plain soap. Do not place the helmet near
sources of heat, as they could damage the helmet and impair its
shockproof qualities.
IMPORTANT WARNINGS:
•
This shockproof helmet is not an alternative to adult supervision, so
never leave the child unattended.
•
This helmet does not substitute a safety helmet, as it does not cover
the childʼs head completely and does not cushion all blows.
•
The helmet is designed to protect the heads of children against
accidental injuries that can occur during the first few months when
they start to move around.
•
Never use the helmet in situations where a safety helmet must be
used (e.g. on bike seats, motorbikes, outdoor sports, etc.).
•
The helmet does not protect children who move around in environ
-
ments which have proven head injury or strangulation risks.
•
Do not alter or tamper with the helmet.
