Preface
Thank you for purchasing the Oki Multifunctional Digital Systems or Multifunctional Digital Color Systems.
The SAFETY INFORMATION describes the necessary precautions for using this OKI Multifunctional
Digital Systems.
This is a manual that is aimed at general users and administrators. For your added safety, be sure to
read this booklet before using this equipment. The models vary from region to region.
The following table shows combinations of the model name indicated on the front cover and the
model name given in the identification label.
If there is a model name in the note, the corresponding model is applicable. If not, the above models
are applicable.

ES9466 MFP:
This is a note for using ES9466 MFP.
Color LCD display
Super high-level technologies are used to produce a color LCD display. However, the following
phenomena may occur; 1) “Missing/dead” or “lit” dots may exist. 2) Unevenness in color or brightness
may occur depending on the viewing angles or the temperature change. Please note that they are not
to be regarded as being defects of the color LCD display.
Precautions when using the touch panel
Using the touch panel near a device that generates electromagnetic waves, such as a fluorescent
lamp, electric generator or air conditioner, may cause a malfunction.
If you operate the touch panel with wet or gloved fingers, it may not respond normally.
Pressing the touch panel with a strong force will damage it and cause a breakage.
Attaching a label or seal to the touch panel may cause a malfunction.
