*1 In Mode 2, if data containing less than 15 digits is selected, a bar code is not printed with Oki Data.
*2 In Mode 2, if non-Mode 2 data is selected, it is automatically encoded as Mode 3.
*3 For printing in Mode 2, “Maxi Code TYPE2: Special specification” is selected in the system mode of
Oki Data and, when 0x00 to 0x20, 0x22 to 0x3A, 0x41 to 0x5A, 0xA0, 0xA2 to 0xA7, 0xA9, 0xAD,
0xAE, or 0xB6 is selected at the end of the bar code data, NULL is added to the end of the bar
code.
When the above condition is met, when the total number of bytes of the data including NULL is less
than 97, 0x1C(FS) is added to the end of the data so that the total number of bytes becomes 97.
*4 If the command is sent without setting data (only ^FS and ^XZ are set while ^FD^FS and ^FD are
not set), the barcode will not be printed.
*5 For printing in Mode 3 (including automatic switch from Mode 2), when 0x00 to 0x03, 0x05 to 0x0C,
0x0E to 0x1B, 0x1F, 0x21, 0x3B to 0x40, or 0x5B to 0xFF is selected at the end of the data, the last
data is always deleted with Oki Data.
In the case of Zebra, when the data is selected with the format for Mode 3, the above code is
deleted. However, when the data is selected with the format for Mode 3 ignored, 0x00 and 0x21
are deleted, 0x81 to 0x9F and 0xE0 to 0xFC encoded as 0x00, and the other data are encoded as
they are.
