If the Printer Won't Print the Test Message
If the Printer Wont Print the Test Message
1) Is the printer on?
2) Check the control panel is the READY lamp on?
3) Are all the connections tight?
4) Have you pressed FORM FEED (if DATA displays)?
5) If youre using a serial interface, are the printer menu settings correct?

6) Are there any error message? (See (

7) Is the printer connected to the right computer port? The tests are based on LPT1
(parallel) or COM1 (serial). Change the test if youre connected to a different port.
If the printer still doesn't work after you've checked these items, contact your service representative.
