Loading paper
•
Place the roll paper on a flat surface to prevent it from rolling off. Injury may be caused if roll paper is dropped.
•
Be careful not to dirty the printing side of roll paper. Print quality may be reduced.
•
To protect the printing side of the roll paper, it is recommended to wear clean cloth gloves while handling.
•
Align the edges of the roll paper. Otherwise a paper feeding error may be caused.
•
If there is paper already loaded, remove the paper before loading the roll paper.
•
Load the roll paper in the reverse direction.
•
Remove and load the roll paper when a paper feeding error occurs.
•
If the roll paper is in the following conditions, cut off the front edge of the roll paper with scissors or the like
before loading it. Otherwise a paper feeding error (trouble) may be caused or print quality may be reduced.
When the front edge is not straight
When there is adhesive tape, glue or dirt
When there are wrinkles
When corners are folded
When curling occurs in the direction opposite to the
winding direction of the roll paper
When corners are dented
When the hole is open
When tears occur
