Initializing the flash memory
Once the flash memory is initialized, the following data will be erased.

Form data

Downloaded demo print data
•
Saved menu settings

Check that "READY TO PRINT" appears on the display.

» several times to display [ADMIN SETUP].

Press «OK».

Input the password when [ENTER PASSWORD] is displayed.

The default password is "999999".

After you have input the password, press «OK».

» several times to display [OTHERS SETUP], and then
press «OK».

» several times to display [STORAGE SETUP], and then
press «OK».

[ENABLE INITIAL] is displayed. If [NO*] is displayed in the lower row, proceed
to Step 9. If [YES*] is displayed in the lower row, proceed to Step 10.

When you press «OK»,the lower row blinks. Press «

» to display [YES] in
the lower row, and then press «OK». (The blinking will stop and the display
changes to [YES*])

Press «BACK» once to display [STORAGE SETUP]. Press «

display [FLASH SETUP], and then press «OK».

When [FLASH INITIALIZE/EXECUTE] is displayed, press «OK».

When a confirmation message is displayed, press «

times to display [YES] or [NO], and then press «OK».

If [NO] is selected, the system goes back to the previous screen.
When you select [YES], another confirmation message will appear.

When you select [NO], you will return to the previous screen, but since the
system remembers to initialize the flash memory, the flash memory will be
initialized once the power is turned on again.
When you select [YES], the machine will automatically reboot, and the
flash memory will be initialized.
