Cleaning the cutter unit
Do not disassemble any parts other than those specified in this procedure. Otherwise
malfunction may be caused.
Routine maintenance
For best results, please perform routine maintenance on your machine.
Check the condition of the machine and clean it if necessary before and after each use.
Cleaning the cutter blade
When you cut the label paper, the glue from the label gradually accumulates on the cutter
blade, which may cause cutting/transfer failure.
In particular, full-page labels cannot be used because glue easily adheres to the cutter blade
(because it cuts the glue adhesion part), which causes cutting/transfer failure. Please use die-
cut labels.
The cleaning cycle may vary with the type of labels used (liner/glue material). If cutting/
transfer failure occurs, clean the cutter blade.

Be sure to power off the printer and disconnect the power cord from the outlet before cleaning.

Please use the specified tools for cleaning.
• Do not touch the cutter blade with your bare hands. Otherwise injury may be caused.
•
Do not use any solvent other than the wiping solution (free of water).
• After cleaning, wipe it dry.
•
Wear gloves to clean with the wiping solution (free of water).
