Cleaning
This section describes how to clean each part of this machine.
Preparations
Prepare the following items to clean each part of the machine.
Name
Usage
A soft dry cloth
It is used to clean the main unit, roll paper holder surface, roller surface, etc.
A wiping solution (free of water)
It is used as a solution to clean the paper guide, roller surface, etc. to which paper
dust or glue from labels may adhere.
Water or mild detergent
It is used to clean the main unit and roll paper holder surface.
Cleaning stick
It is used to clean the roller surface.
Gloves
Wear them when using the wiping solution (free of water).
Newspaper, paper to avoid
direct light
It is used when you remove the image drum.
Soft tissue paper
It is used to clean the lens surface of the LED head.
A Phillips-head screwdriver
It is used when the cutter unit is to be cleaned.
Cleaning cycle
Check the condition of the machine and clean it if necessary before and after each use.

When the width of the roll paper has changed, clean the paper transfer path (including the roller) and the fuser unit.
In particular, when the width of the label is changed from "narrow" to "wide", traces of the paper width (paper
dust, etc.) may cause streaks during printing.
When the width of the label has changed, check the condition of the paper transfer path and the fuser unit, clean
them if needed, and resume printing.
• Wear gloves to clean with the wiping solution.
