Air outlet
louver
control
It is possible to select the fixed position or the automatic oscillation mode
using the corresponding button on the remote control (
Oscillating louver
on/off button).
In automatic oscillation mode, the
louver
oscillates between two fixed
angles (A and B, minimum and maximum angle), the values of which are
defined as shown below.
Whenever in automatic oscillation mode, pressing on the button
(
Oscillating louver
on/off button) on the remote control closes the
louver
in a specific position. In this situation, if the unit is placed into standby
and then turned on again, the prior
louver
position is restored.
If the fixed position is selected, the angle of the predefined initial position
is the minimum angle (A, vertical air flow) or the maximum (B, horizontal
air flow) in cooling or heating mode, respectively, if ambient temperature
compensation is deactivated (bit 1 of the parameter mch_id is reset to
zero), and the opposite when ambient temperature compensation is
turned on (bit 1 of the parameter mch_id is set to 1).
3.10
Timer programming
Two independent programs are possible, and LED DL3 on the display
shows when one or both programs are enabled. For each timer (Timer 1
and Timer 2) it is possible to select the start time and a stop time in one
day, using the corresponding procedure on the remote control. The time
between these two settings is the ON period, and the time (within one
day) outside of these two settings corresponds to the OFF period.
Depending on the current internal clock time, two situations are possible:
–
the current time is during the ON period:
the unit operates
normally, and when the current time goes outside of the ON period
and enters the OFF period, the unit shuts down and only the yellow
LED stays on.
–
the current time is during the OFF period:
the unit (if it is on)
shuts off and only the yellow LED stays on. It is possible to modify
the operating settings using the remote control (in that case the unit
will start up with the last setting received), but the air conditioner
stays in standby as long as the internal clock is in the OFF period.
As soon as the internal clock enters the ON period, the air conditioner
starts to operate with the last settings received from the remote control.
By disabling the timer(s), the unit will return to its last operating state. The
board stores the time in EEPROM every 10 minutes, so therefore, if a
blackout occurs, the unit startup and shutdown times may be delayed for
up to 10 minutes (beyond the length of the blackout).
3.11 Air conditioner auto test mode
This function may be activated only when the unit is in standby mode, by
pressing and holding the
(
H
)
button for 5 seconds. Once the function is
enabled (indicated by a single beep), the display shows the code shown
below on the display for 5 seconds, based on the current board settings:

After which, all the LEDs change to intermittent mode (1 sec. ON, 1 sec.
OFF, when the LEDs are on the buzzer sounds) for 10 seconds and
during this time period it is possible to invert the Troom correction status
(as well as the corresponding code and the value mch_id) by pressing the
H button on the display. (The unit in standard form is configured for
installation on a wall WITHOUT any ambient Troom temperature
correction set (T_camb=0), also see par. 5).
If the setting is changed, the flashing mode is stopped and the new
updated code is displayed for 5 seconds.
Then the following steps are carried out:
–
the unit starts to operate in heating mode (if enabled, otherwise see
the next item) for 2 minutes (without delay the 4-way valve and the
compressor) at maximum speed (both fans), with the air
louver
in
automatic mode.
–
the unit switches to cooling mode (deactivating the 4-way valve for 2
minutes (the condensate actuator is powered on), keeping the fan at
high speed, and air
louver
in automatic mode.
–
the compressor is stopped; both the fans switch to medium speed
for
10 seconds. Alarms may now be displayed, but they will not
block
operation.
–
both fans switch to low speed, condensate disposal is turned on for
10 seconds and the
louver
oscillation is shut off. Alarms may now be
displayed, but they will not block operation.
–
all outlets are shut off; the display again shows the code for 5
seconds based on current board settings.
The Auto Test subprogram operates independently of any alarm or
notification situations. While it is executed, no other command can be
received from the remote control except for the standby command.
