AT& commands
■
Controls the action of a character sent by DTE during the phase between
dialling and connection (transition phase between command mode and line
mode).
&A, &A0
A character sent by DTE during transition phase causes the modem to
hang up (default setting).
&A1
The modem ignores characters sent by DTE during handshake
&A
Controls the CD signal (109 or carrier detection) sent by the modem (DCE, data
circuit terminating equipment) on the V24 interface.
&C, &C0
CD signal always enabled.
&C1
CD signal in normal operation, CD enabled when the carrier is
detected (default setting).
Note: the red CD warning light on the front panel indicates the V24 signal.
&C
Controls operating mode of DTR signal (108/2, data terminal ready) sent by
the data terminal equipment on the V24 interface.
&D, &D0
DTR signal is ignored.
&D1
When DTR signal drops there is a return to command mode without
disconnection.
&D2
When DTR signal drops there is a return to command mode and dis
connection (default setting).
&D3
When DTR signal drops there is a soft reset (ATZ) and the settings
defined by the &Y command apply.
Note: S25 defines the minimum time for DTR off to take effect.
