Trouble type
C2350: Toner suction fan failure to turn
Rank
B
Trouble detection condition The fan lock signal remains HIGH for a predetermined continuous period of time while the fan is turning.
Trouble isolation
-
Relevant electrical parts
• Toner suction fan (FM2)
• CPU board (CPUB)
• Base board (BASEB)
Procedure
1.
Check the connector between FM2-relay CN10-BASEB CN18E for proper connection and correct as necessary.
2.
Check the fan for possible overload and correct as necessary.
3.
Check CPUB for proper installation and correct as necessary.
4.
FM2 load check
• Check code: 42
• Multi code: 3
• Control signal: BASEB CN18E-12 (REM), BASEB CN18E-14 (LOCK)
• Location of electrical component: 3-C
