INSTALLATION
2.1
INTRODUCTION
This chapter provides the information required for correct installation of the system by a specialized technician.
2.1.1
General warnings
This paragraph provides a number of warnings to be complied with for correct, safe use of the system.
•
Before connecting the system to the mains, make sure that the voltage matches that of the system.
•
Use the cord provided to connect the system to the mains.
•
Do not install the system in dusty, damp environments or those affected by mechanical vibrations, close to
sources of heat or of strong electro-magnetic disturbances.
•
Make sure that the cooling fan air intake is not obstructed.
•
Do not clean the system with abrasive substances or solvents.
2.2
UNPACKING THE SYSTEM
The system is delivered in two separate packages, one containing the base module and other the LCD display
with touch screen.
The packaging of the base module Explor@ 200M & 300M contains the following components:

Base module

Rear cable cover
•
Power cord
•
System drivers on CD
•
“Installation Guide” manual
•
2 CDs with Windows XP operating system (for machines with preinstalled Operating System).
The packaging of the LCD display with touch screen Explor@ 120D & 150D contains the following
components:

LCD display with touch screen
•
Connection cable of the COM ports
•
Power cord
•
USB connection cable
•
VGS connection cable
•
System drivers on CD
•
“Installation Guide” manual
•
Loudspeakers (optional)
