PARTy FUNCTION ON
The party function is switched on by a long press of the
“Party button”, i.e. the preset switching times (see “Timer
program”) are ignored and the pellet fireplace heats at the
output stage which is set.
If switched on in the “Heating operation” operating state,
the next “switch-off time” is ignored, the pellet fireplace
continues heating. The party function automatically
switches off at the next switch-on time and the pellet fire-
place resumes working as programmed.
If switched on in the “Ready” operating state, the “switch-
off time” which has already occurred is ignored and the
pellet fireplace ignites in order to start heating operation.
The party function automatically switches off at the next
switch-on time and the pellet fireplace resumes working
as programmed.
PARTy FUNCTION OFF
The party function can be manually switched off by press-
ing the “Party button” again.
“Operating state” display
SWITCHED OFF
The pellet fireplace is switched off by pressing the “ON/
OFF button”. Automatic start (heating operation) cannot
occur in this operating state. Exception: frost protection
(see “Frost protection” chapter)
READy
Heating is enabled by pressing the “ON/OFF button”. Since
all of the conditions for starting the combustion process
are not met, the ignition process is not started. Instead, the
pellet fireplace is put into the “Ready” operating state. The
following conditions must be met to directly start the igni-
tion process:
- No outstanding error message
- Combustion chamber door closed
- Pellet reservoir cover closed
- No relay test is currently being performed (service)
- Flame temperature has cooled to below 100 °C
- The connected external room temperature sensor
contact is closed.
- The room temperature has dropped to the set value.
- The current time is within the switching time
(with switching time active).
IGNITION
The pellets are automatically deposited in the burner
trough and ignited. Ignition takes longer during initial
commissioning because the screw conveyor is filled with
pellets first. An extended special ignition program is
started after an error message.
START
The pellet volume is steadily increased until the maximum
output stage is reached.
HEATING OPERATION
The pellet fireplace heats to the output stage which is set.
CLEANING
Minor cleaning: “Minor cleaning” is carried out every hour
takes a short time. The screw motor is switched off and the
flue exhauster runs at maximum speed. The burner trough is
thus cleaned. Heating operation automatically continues.
Major cleaning: “Major cleaning” is carried out every eight
hours. Here, the combustion process is stopped. The screw
motor is switched off and the flue exhauster runs at maximum
speed. The burner trough is thus cleaned. “Major cleaning” lasts
until the flame temperature has cooled to below 100 °C. The
combustion process automatically restarts.
BURNOUT
The combustion process is ended. After burnout, the
pellet fireplace is in “Off” mode. The “ON/OFF button” must
be pressed to resume heating operation. If timer times are
set, then the pellet fireplace goes to ready. This requires
the pellet fireplace to have been started or put into ready
mode with the on button for the first time.
