Display operating status
“off”
The appliance has been switched off by activating the “Fire-key”. In this operating status automatic start (heating)
cannot occur.
Exception: frost protection (see chapter „Settings frost protection“)
“standby”
The heating release has been issued by activating the “Fire-key”. Because not all of the conditions for the start of
the combustion process are satisfied, the ignition process will not be started, but rather the appliance will go into the
“standby” operating status.
The following conditions must be satisfied in order to directly start the ignition process:
- No error messages should be queued.
- The combustion chamber door must be closed.
- The pellet tank cover must be closed.
- A relay test must not be executed (service technician).
- The flame temperature must have cooled to under 100°C.
- A connected external room temperature contact must be closed.
- The room temperature must have dropped to the set value.
- With active time program the actual time must be within the time program.
“ignition”
The pellets are tossed into the combustion pan and ignited automatically. When commissioning the ignition takes
longer because the auger must first be filled with pellets.
After an error message an extended special ignition program will be started.
“start”
Pellet quantity is constantly increased until the maximum power level is reached.
“heating”
The appliance heats to the set power level.
“cleaning”
Small cleaning
“Small cleaning” is executed every hour and is of short duration. The auger motor is switched off and the induced
draught fan runs at maximum speed. This cleans the combustion pan. Heating operation continues automatically.
Grand cleaning
“Grand cleaning” is executed every eight hours. In this case the combustion process is stopped. The auger mo-
tor is switched off and the induced draught fan runs at maximum speed. This cleans the combustion pan. “Grand
cleaning” lasts until the flame temperature has cooled below 100°C. The combustion process restarts automati
-
cally.
“burnout”
The combustion process ends. After burnout the appliance is in “off” mode. For subsequent heating operation the
“Fire-key” must be pressed.
