Description
BSR-6055 is an optical electronic smoke detector. It co -operates only with BSR-
1116 panels. The device transmits an analogue value to the panel which depends
on the amount of the smoke that there is in the area. The analogue value is 100
with obscuration rate 2% per metre (small amount of smoke) and 120 with
obscuration rate 4% per metre (large amount of smoke).
The factory setting of the panel is to issue an alarm when the analogue value is
greater than 110. The user can change this analogue value from 100 (very sensitive
detector) up to 120 (average sensitive detector). Á red coloured LED that blinks
periodically in standby detection mode, is a power indication LED and indicator for
the good operation of the device. When a detector issues an alarm the LED lights.
When we sillence the sirens the LED remains lit to show us the detector that issued
the alarm.

Common base for smoke and thermal detectors
The base that is included in the
package of the smoke and thermal
detectors has four contacts for cable
connections.
We connect the two contacts with
polarity to the loop as shown in the
side figure.
The two other contacts are used for
connecting external LED(BS-572).
This
connection
also
demands
polarity.

The LED goes off when we RESET the panel.
Each detector has an address with which it is
recognized from the panel.
It`s forbidden for two devices with same
addresses to be connect to the same loop.
The back page contains all the available
address settings which are done using the
dipswitch.
