1.5. Start-up Procedure
1.
Connect the power adapter cable to the rear of NC 430.
2.
Connect the power adapter to an appropriate wall outlet (230V/110V).
3.
Turn the unit on.
Please note:
To avoid miscounting and damage to the unit the following banknotes should be separated out before counting:
1. pasted
banknotes
2. washed
banknotes
3.
very dirty banknotes
4. damaged
banknotes
Instructions for use
The unit works fully automatic. Insert the banknotes one by one. The display shows all information for the
currently tested banknote. In case the banknote gets stuck inside the unit, please open it carefully by flipping the
display up. The banknote can now be removed.
Testing Procedure
1. When turning the NC 430 on, an auto diagnosis is performed and the display shows the corresponding
error codes. As soon as the unit is ready for use denomination and units are zeroed.
2.
Insert the banknote into the feeder.
3.
The banknote is pulled in by the motor and tested.
4. In case of incorrect insertion or counterfeit money the banknote is ejected at the front and an error code
warns in combination with a high beep tone against accepting this banknote. Genuine banknotes are
alternatively pulled through the unit or ejected in front. The banknote value or total value is displayed. Press
and hold for 2 seconds the DIR / CLEAR key to delete the total amount on the display, alternatively
automatic deletion follows after approx. 20 seconds.
