Periodic maintenance is necessary to keep your copier in good condi-
tion.
Contact your service representative as soon as possible.
The copier memory is full. Either print out or clear all scanned data. It is
not possible to copy or scan another original until one of these two opera-
tions is performed.
The copier memory size and the capacity for scanning originals are shown
below.
*When using the standard original specified by our company (A4 paper,
Characters account for 6% of the original).
If paper is misfed, the copier will stop and the location of the misfeed will
appear on the message display. Remove the misfed paper with the main
switch turned ON ( | ) by following the appropriate procedure.
Originals have not been fed correctly from the Document Processor (op-
tional). Remove the originals with the main switch turned ON (|) by follow-
ing the appropriate procedure.
The duplex unit (optional) is out of order and duplex copying is not pos-
sible.
Contact your service representative immediately.
There are 100 sheets of paper stored on the optional job separator. Re-
move the paper and resume copying.
Paper has been misfed inside the document finisher (optional). See the
document finisher’s operation guide and remove the paper.
There are no staples in the document finisher (optional). See the docu-
ment finisher’s operation guide and replace the staple cartridge.
Stapling is not possible with small size paper. For details, see the docu-
ment finisher’s operation guide .
The waste toner box is filled with waste toner. Replace the waste toner
box with a new one.
The document processor original cover of the optional document proces-
sor is open. Close the cover securely.
