Remove the slotted diaphragm stop pin
Using a suitable JIS screwdriver, loosen and remove the
two m2.6x5 screws holding the plastic gear collar in
place on the diaphragm rotor. See

Remove two screws securing the gear collar
Lift and remove the plastic gear collar from the
diaphragm rotor if it will come loose. See
