5.2.2
Power and Lock Buttons
The power button (
) toggles the BondMaster 600 power on and off. At startup, the
BondMaster 600 will normally attempt to restore its last configuration.
The BondMaster 600 lock can be enabled or disabled by pressing the lock button
(
). When activated, the lock disables most of the BondMaster 600 direct function
keys, function keys (A, B, C, D, and E), menu keys, and the knob. This prevents
inadvertent key entries after the BondMaster 600 is calibrated and inspections are
ready to proceed.
When the lock is activated, an indicator light illuminates below the battery life
indicator (at the upper right side of the BondMaster 600), and only the CAL NULL
(
), ERASE (
), FREEZE (
), and REF SAVE (
) direct function keys remain
functional. If any locked functions are attempted, the error message
Parameter
Locked
will appear at the bottom of the screen.
5.2.3
Function Keys
The function keys located on the right side of the BondMaster 600 are used to select
instrument parameters for adjustment. When a function key is pressed, the parameter
located in the box displayed directly beside that key (A, B, C, D, or E) is highlighted.
5.2.4
Menu Keys
The menu keys located at the bottom of the BondMaster 600 display are used for
direct selection of instrument menus. Each of the menu keys provides access to two or
more submenus. Repeated pressing of a menu key toggles between the menus.
Pressing the function key (A, B, C, D or E) next to a menu item enables modification of
the item or access to additional menus or submenus.
The following menu keys are available:
MAIN (
)
Provides access to the main menu, which controls functions such as frequency,
gain, angle, and filters.
