If the proper power cord is not used, the electric safety and the EMC (Electro-Magnetic Compatibility)
performance of the product cannot be assured. If no power cord is provided, please select the proper
power cord by referring to the section "Proper selection of the power cord" at the end of this instruction
manual.
Always connect the ground terminal.
Connect the ground terminal of the power cord and that of the power outlet. If the product is not
grounded, our intended electric safety and EMC performance of the product cannot be assured.
Do not use the product in close proximity to the sources of strong electromagnetic radiation.
Proper operation may be interfered. The electromagnetic environment should be evaluated prior to
operation of the product.
Disconnect the power cord in case of emergency.
In case of emergency, disconnect the power cord from the power cord connector of the product or from
the power outlet. Install the product at the location where you can reach the power cord connector or
the power outlet at hand to disconnect the power cord quickly.
Do not connect or disconnect the power cord, cables and units while the power is ON.
Do not bend, pull or bundle the power cord and cables. Otherwise, they could be damaged, causing a
fire or an electric shock.
If you leave the system unused for a long period of time, turn off the main switch and unplug the power
cord from the outlet.
Do not use the damaged power cords. Electrical short circuit or fire could be caused.
Do not connect the power cords to the power-supply voltage other than that specified in the instruction
manual. Otherwise, it could cause a fire, an electric shock or a failure.
The zoom head DSX10-UZH or DSX10-UZH moves up and down electrically. Before using the zoom head,
make sure that cables are not caught.
If the monitor and the controller are used near the product for industrial environment, the noise may
appear on the monitor screen or the image may be interrupted due to the influence of surrounding
electromagnetic waves or static electricity. Place the monitor, controller and connection cables away
from the noise source, or change the installation direction. Do not bundle or wind the cables that
connect the monitor and the controller.
Use the power cords that comply with the local rules and regulations of the respective countries.
Do not pull cables.
Do not get your hands or feet tangled with the cables.
Do not remove the caps attached to the unused connectors. If you touch the connectors with the caps
removed when the power is ON, the static electricity from your body could cause the product failure.
If the liquid or the conductive foreign substance (iron powder, etc.) enters the product, the product
could be damaged.
Do not change fuses on your own.
