NOTE
Select the position of the PCIe slot whose electrical mode (data transfer rate) is X4 or more.
The electrical mode (data transfer rate) of PCIe slots might differ from the mechanical mode (slot shape) of
them. Be sure to confirm your PC's instruction manual and labels for PCIe slots.
Examples of labels for PCIe slots:
l
PCIe3x16(4) mechanical mode X16, electrical mode X4 (usable)
l
PCIe3x4(1) mechanical mode X4, electrical mode X1 (not usable)
Insert the PCIe interface board
into the PCIe slot
carefully without touching the board surface directly with
hand.
NOTE
Do not install the following boards in the adjacent slot on the fan side of the PCIe interface board. Otherwise,
it may deteriorate product performance.
l
Graphic board
l
PCIe interface board of DP80, DP73 or DP72
l
Board with power consumption of 3 W or more
Connect the connector
to the SATA power cable
of the controller PC.
NOTE
l
Insert the cable connectors completely to the end.
l
For prevention from possible damage, be careful not to apply excessive force to the connectors of the PCIe
interface board or cables.
Secure the cover of the PCIe slot completely and attach the cover of the controller PC to the original position. Make
sure that the cables are not caught in the cover or the operation portions inside the controller PC such as fan, etc.
To detach the PCIe interface board, perform the procedure described above in reverse order.
