8.6 Attachment/detachment of the lens attachment
CAUTION
Hold the lens attachment securely with both hands. As the objective lens is heavy, it could be dropped to
cause you injury.
TIP
Depending on the objective, there are lens attachments that may not be attached if the zoom head is not
placed at the objective exchange position. For the procedure to move the lens attachment to the objective
exchange position, see "2.1.2 Replacing the lens attachment" in Operation manual.
Attaching the lens attachment
Insert the lens attachment along the zoom head mount, and push it in until the click sound is heard.
Detaching the lens attachment
While pressing the lens exchange button
, slide out the lens attachment to the front side to detach it from the
zoom head.
Store the detached lens attachment in the objective lens case DSX10-LC or the commercially-available case.
