Applicable ZUIKO DIGITAL lens

Depending on the applicable lens to which the
teleconverter is attached, the following restrictions
may apply when using the AF (auto focus) or AE
(auto exposure):
AF:
Auto focus can be used if the maximum open
aperture of the lens is f2.8 or less. With a lense
with an open aperture of f3.5, auto focus is
possible using the center AF target (except for
35 mm f3.5 Macro and ED 8 mm f3.5 Fisheye
lenses). With other lenses, use manual focus
(MF) mode.
AE:
With lenses darker than those with an open
aperture of f4.0, the exposure may be off. Be
sure to take some test shots in advance and
check the exposure. If necessary, use exposure
compensation.

Do not view the sun through the lens. It may
cause blindness or vision impairment.
Do not leave the lens without the cap. If solar light
is converged through the lens, a fi re may result.
Do not point the camera lens at the sun. Sunlight
will converge in the lens and focus inside the
camera, possibly causing a malfunction or fi re.
