8. USE
8.1 UPSTROKE
Start the pedal (1 Fig. 6) with alternate movements.
Look after the load all the time.
During the lifting movement, the stopping of the
pumping action stops the stem in the position
it has so far reached, and the check valve
stabilizes its position.
The lifting operation stops at the highest point
automatically.

Release the pedal when lifting is complete.
8.2 DOWNSTROKE
Operate the lowering device (2 Fig. 6) by rotating it anti
clockwise.
The speed of the lowering movement is
regulated automatically, regardless of the lifted
weight, so that it falls within the limits specified
by the applicable Standard.
The lowering control is a “man on premises” type
command. Releasing the lowering device will
cause the rod to stop in the position reached.

After equipment use, return the cylinder rod to
the idle position (rod fully retracted).

WARNING:
Open the device very slowly to go
down, keeping constantly the working area
under control.
