Section 3.3 Installation and Panel Mounting
Figure 3-4
shows the panel cutout dimensions, the dimensions
for the panel thickness, and the mounting clamp for mounting
the unit in a panel.
Connections will be done after
mounting the unit.
1.
Remove the lens by inserting a paper clip or a small flat
blade screwdriver into the rounded corner of the lens and lift
out.
2.
Remove the two mounting screws from both sides of the
display. Pry both sides of the mounting clamp out and down
to remove it from the meter case.
3.
Insert the meter into the panel cutout and reinstall the
mounting clamp to the bottom of the meter case from the
rear of the panel.
4.
Re-install the mounting screws to secure the meter in the
panel. Do not over-tighten the screws.
5.
Pop the lens back in, making sure the dull side of the lens
faces towards you.
