4.3 Rear panel
7. XLR MONO INPUT
Microphone input (XLR, balanced) of channels CH 1 - CH 8.
8. 6.3 mm MONO INPUT
Line input of channels CH 1 - CH 8. This line input can be converted with the internal jumpers to a line output
(see chapter 7.5).
9. DIP SWITCHES
With these switches, you can switch on a 12 V phantom power separately for each of the XLR jacks.
10. MONO OUTPUT MAIN OUT
6.3 mm mono jack for connecting your PA amplifier.
11. FEED-THROUGH INPUT / OUTPUT

12. AC CONNECTION with FUSEHOLDER
Used to plug the power cord in. Only replace the fuse when the device is disconnected from mains. Only use
fuses of the same rating and power. The correct fuse value is specified on the rear panel.
5. INSTALLATION
5.1 Rack installation
This device is built for 19" racks (483 mm). The rack you use should be a double-door rack where you can
open the front panel and the rear panel. The rack should be provided with a cooling fan. When mounting the
device into the rack, please make sure that there is enough space around the device so that the heated air
can be passed on. Steady overheating will damage your device. You can fix the device with four screws M6
in the rack. If several devices are to be installed, make sure that you leave 1 unit space between the devices.
6. CONNECTIONS
All connections have to be made or changed only if the amplifier and all audio devices connected to it is/are
switched off!
6.1 Audio devices
1. Connect microphones to the XLR jacks. For phantom powered microphones switch on the phantom
power (see chapter 7.3).
Caution!
If the phantom power is switched on, no unbalanced microphones or units with line level must be
connected to the corresponding inputs. Otherwise, these microphones and units may be
damaged.
2. Connect units with line level to the 6.3 mm jacks.
3. A PA amplifier for speakers or a subsequent unit with line level can be connected to the 6.3 mm jack
MAIN OUT.
6.2 Connection with the mains
Connect the device to the mains with the supplied power supply cable.
