Other Operational Information
Line Tag Mode - This option is always included in CCB release mode. It appends a 6 digit number
(from 000001 counting upwards, one for each record) to the front of each record.
CCB Release Mode -The 01 command always transmits data using the CBB protocol. There is no
option to set this to other release modes.
Auto Delete Mode - When releasing data using the CBB protocol, Auto Delete is always enabled and
can not be disabled.
Duplex - The 635 always responds in half duplex, e.i. it does not echo commands sent to it back to the
user.
Percent Full Callouts - This function is always enabled. If there is a callback phone number entered
using the 14 command, the PS635c will call that number if it reaches 80% full.
Modem Parity - When dialing the PS635c via modem, the modem parity is always set to 8 and None.
RESETTING THE PS635
There are several methods for resetting the PS635 to various degrees.
The RESET button is located on the rear panel on the left side viewed from the rear. The RESET
button “reboots” the PS635. Valid data in the PS635 will be preserved and PS635 configuration will
not be changed.
The RESTART command "reboots" the PS635 as if you had pressed the RESET button. If there is valid
data present in the PS635, all memory and configuration will be preserved.
The ZERO command clears the PS635 of all records. It can be used to clear all data both inside and
outside of the current partition. The number of records in the PS635 will be zero after the use of the
ZERO command. Other variables are not affected.
The ZAP command clears all data from memory and returns all settings back to factory defaults.
