LED INDICATIONS

The front panel of the
PS635 has 12 indicator
LEDs.  These indicators
show the current operating
status of the PS635.  Below
is a list of the indicator
LEDs and their functions.

ALM

 -

This LED indicates the PS635 has received an alarm condition.  Detailed information on alarms

is covered later in this manual.

MDM

 -

This LED indicates that carrier detect is present when a modem is used in conjunction with the

PS635.

PERCENT FULL

  -

These five indicator lights are used to show how much of the PS635 memory

contains call record data.  The first indicator is 25%.  If there is data in the PS635 but it is less than 25%
full, the 25% LED will blink.  When 25% full is reached the 25% LED will remain on.  At 26% full the
25% full LED remains lit and the 50% full LED starts flashing.  At 50% full the 50% LED full remains
constantly lit.  This sequence continues on the LEDs up through 75%, 95%, and 100% full.  When data
is removed from the PS635 the percentage full indicators will turn off in the reverse sequence.

RXD IN

This indicator shows data flow into the INPUT port.  RXD IN will show green when properly

connected to a PBX or other record source.  When the PS635 is receiving data from the switch on the
INPUT port, this RXD IN will flicker between red and green.

RXD AUX and TXD AUX

 -

These indicators show data flow in and out of the OUTPUT port.  RXD

OUT will show green when properly connected to a PC serial port.  RXD OUT will flicker red to show
data flow in on this port such as keystrokes commands being issued to the PS635.  TXD OUT will
flicker red to show data flow out on this port.

DTR AUX

This LED will show red when the PS635 sees DTR high on the Output port.

POWER

 -

This indicator shows that power is available to the PS635, and that the PS635 is on.  Under

normal operating conditions, the POWER light will stay on steady with a blink every 10 seconds to
indicate proper operation.
