CompoNet Communications Unit User’s Manual (I582-E1)
If the configuration of a parameter disables the CompoNet Communications Unit to operate normally,
an error code will be displayed.
The table below shows the errors and the corrective action.

One of configuration
parameters P160 to
P167 or P170 to P177
is rejected by inverter.
Check (and correct) the following items:
• Does one of parameters P168, P169, P178, and
P179 contain a value which is not zero?
• Is one of parameters P160 to P167 and P170 to
P177 specifying a Modbus register that does not
exist?
• Is one of parameters P160 to P167 specifying a
double-word Modbus register? If so, are low and
high words specified in sequence by two consec-
utive parameters?
• Is one of parameters P170 to P177 specifying a
double-word Modbus register? If so, are high
and low words specified in sequence by two con-
secutive parameters?
• Is a specific Modbus register specified twice in
output parameters P160 to P167?
• Is one of parameters P160 to P167 specifying a
Modbus register that is read-only?
A register is read-only if it has an "R" in
the R/W column of the register table in
Section 6-8 Modbus Communication
(Modbus-RTU) Data List of the MX2
User's Manual (Cat. No. I570).
A register is read-only if it has an "R" in
the R/W column of the register table in

• Is one of parameters P160 to P167 specifying a
Modbus register that is write-prohibited during
operation?
A parameter is write-prohibited during
operation if "no" is put in the "Data can
be changed during RUN" column of the
table in Section 4 of the MX2 Inverter
manual (Cat. No. I570).
A parameter is write-prohibited during
operation if "No" is put in the "Changes
during operation" column of the table in
Section 4 Parameter List of the RX
Inverter manual (Cat. No. I578).
After correcting configuration, cycle the power sup-
ply.
