Setup Procedure
Initial Hardware Settings
• Set the unit number and the operating mode using the rotary switch on the front of the High-speed Counter
Unit. Set the output mode using the switch on the back of the Unit.
• Mount on a CS1 CPU Rack, a C200H Expansion I/O Rack, a CS1 Expansion Rack, or a SYSMAC BUS
Remote Slave Rack. In a basic system, up to 16 Units can be mounted. (There are no restrictions on the
mounting order.)
• Perform wiring using the I/O connectors.
• Connect a Programming Device.
• Turn ON the power supply to the PC.
• Create an I/O table.
Initial Software Settings
• Set the parameters in allocated words of the DM Area (m to m+99).
• Reset the power supply, or restart the Unit.
Operating Commands
• Start counter operation by turning ON the Start command (word n, bit 00), using OUT or another instruc-
tion.
