The F3SG-SR/PG must be installed, configured, and incorporated into a machine control system
by a sufficiently trained and qualified person. An unqualified person may not be able to perform
these operations properly, which may cause a person to go undetected, resulting in serious injury.
Make sure the Responsible Person test the operation of the F3SG-SR/PG after setting with the SD
Manager 3 to verify that the F3SG-SR/PG operates as intended. Make sure to stop the machine until
the test is complete. Unintended settings may cause a person to go undetected, resulting in serious
injury.
2-1. Combination of Functions
Possible combinations of the F3SG-SR/PG functions are shown in the table below. The combinations in the
table are available under certain conditions. The other functions can be combined without any limitations.
The functions listed in the table below are not available for the F3SG-RE.
