General Instructions
• Before grilling, always fill the drip tray (7) with water up
to the „MAX“ mark.
• The food should be at room temperature since frozen
food requires longer to cook and can also dry out.
• To achieve the best results, preheat the grill until the
required temperature has been reached and the control
indicator (5) extinguishes.
• Carefully monitor grilling and regulate the temperature
– if necessary.
• You can use the appliance to cook various different foods
such as steaks, sausages or vegetables.
• The drip tray can be used as an aroma depot (image D1):
when grilling using the grate, water and herbs or wine,
beer, cognac - appropriate to your dishes - can be pou-
red into the drip tray. The flavoured steam evaporates
during grilling and adds flavour to the food and makes it
more succulent. This effect is reinforced when the cover
is used.
NOTE: When topping up, do not pour water over the hot heating element (9). Do not use the grill
without filling the drip tray with water (pay attention to the „MIN“ and „MAX“ marks) in the drip tray.
Do not touch the heating element with the grill utensils.
After using
• Turn the thermostat anticlockwise until it stops.
• Pull the plug out of the mains socket.
• Remove the grill plate or the grate and the heating element (9) from the appliance.
• Empty the drip tray (7).
• Use a sponge and washing-up liquid to remove stubborn stains from the warm grill grate.
• Allow the appliance to cool down and clean it as described in the section.
• Use pot holders or kitchen gloves when removing the heating element, the grill grate or the grill
plate.
Cleaning and Care
• The appliance must be cleaned after each use.
• Clean the appliance as soon as it has cooled down. Waiting too long makes cleaning unnecessarily
difficult.
• Leftovers that stick to the grill grate can burn into the coating if not removed correctly
