7. Put Fan Housing topside down over 

motor shaft and line up the bolt holes 

as shown below.

Fan Housing holes should line up with 

Motor bolt holes.

8. Put included Lock-Tite on bolt shafts 

and put all four bolts with Lock Washer 

in the holes and finger tighten. 

9. Then with a Torque Wrench, tighten 

each bolt to 30 lbs. using a crossing 

pattern. Do NOT tighten in a circle.

8. Put 1/2” high wooden pieces on 

Fan Housing floor to rest Fan Wheel 

on. Line up the two key ways in the 

Fan Wheel and the Motor Shaft. There 

must be 1/2” from top of Fan Wheel to 

top of Motor Shaft in order for spinning 

Fan Wheel to clear bolt heads.

10. Insert Key into slot with narrower 

side to shaft, then lightly tap with ham-

mer and nail set until key top is level 

with shaft top being careful to avoid 

hitting fan with hammer.

11 Put Lock-Tite on provided Set 

Screws then put screw in hole in Fan 

Wheel as shown. Tighten screw with 

provided Allen wrench to 12 - 15 lbs. 

Remove wooden pieces from under 

Fan Wheel. 

Repeat procedure with 

Set Screw in other hole.
