5. Read the Result
Once a control solution level has been selected, the meter will display the control
solution result along with the date, time, unit of measure and the level of control
solution selected.
If mmol/L does not appear with the control solution test result, contact Customer
Service and/or LifeScan® sales representative.

6. Remove the used test strip
After viewing the control solution test, hold the meter pointed down. Press the
eject button
and the test strip will come out.
Used test strips may be considered biohazardous waste in your area. Follow your
institution’s regulations for proper disposal.
7. Cleaning
Place the vial cap back on the vial and clean the top of the control solution cap with a clean, damp tissue
or cloth.
