Adjusting the LINE input level
The volume level of the earphone output on some
mobile music players may be substantially lower than
that of other audio sources. Therefore, if you switch the
input source from such a player (connected to the LINE
IN jacks) to another input source, you may notice the
level variance. In such a case, follow the steps below to
adjust the LINE input level.
1. Press the [LINE] button to change the input
source to “LINE.”
2. Press the [MENU] button to display “Input
Level >”, then press the [ENTER] button.
3. Play back music, while adjusting the volume
level using the
[
q
]/[
w
]
buttons.
You can ajust the input level in a range from –6
to +12.
Press the [ENTER] button to return to the
previous display.
Note:
• This adjustment affects only the speaker volume; the
headphone volume cannot be adjusted.
• If the volume level of your mobile music player is
substantially low, this adjustment may not be
sufficient. In such a case, raise the volume level on the
mobile music player.
• If the input level is raised excessively, the sound may
distort. If this occurs, adjust the input level
appropriately.
This manual describes the procedure for using the
remote controller, unless otherwise specified.
