Erasing a selected track – Erase
• This can be done only when an MD is stopped or
paused.
• To cancel the operation, press MD .

Insert the MD, then select MD as
the source.
Use a recordable MD with the record-
protect window closed.

Turn MULTI JOG to select a track
to erase.

Press
EDIT
/CLEAR/NO
repeatedly until “Erase?”
appears in the display.

Press REPEAT/
YES
to erase the
track.
“Complete” appears.
The selected track is erased and all
the other remaining tracks are
renumbered from the top.
