You can reset a 

REMOTE MODE

 to its default remote 

control code.

You can reset the remote controller to its default settings.

By pressing 

REMOTE MODE

 that’s been programmed 

with the remote control code for your component, you can 
control your component as below.

Controlling a TV

TV

 is preprogrammed with the remote control code for 

controlling a TV that supports the

 (limited to 

some models). The TV must be able to receive remote 
control commands via

 and be connected to the 

AV receiver via HDMI. If controlling your TV via

 doesn’t work very well, program your TV’s 

remote control code into 

TV

 and use the TV remote mode 

to control your TV.

Resetting REMOTE MODE Buttons

While holding down the 

REMOTE MODE

 that you 

want to reset, press and hold down 

HOME

 until the 

remote indicator lights (about 3 seconds).

Within 30 seconds, press the 

REMOTE MODE

 

again.

The remote indicator flashes twice, indicating that the 
button has been reset.
Each of the 

REMOTE MODE

 is preprogrammed 

with a remote control code. When a button is reset, its 
preprogrammed code is restored.
