Recording (continued)
Using the Level Sync function
The Level Sync function enables you to
automatically number the tracks by detecting
the rise of the signal level at the beginning of
each track. (The Level Sync function is turned on
by the default setting.)
To disable the auto numbering (Level Sync)
function...
Follow the steps below during recording or
stand-by mode:
1
Press the EDIT/NO button, then
turn the AMCS knob until “Level
Sync?” appears.
To enable the auto numbering (Level Sync)
function...
Follow the steps described above, except that
“OFF
→
ON” appears in Step 2 and “Level Sync
On” appears in Step 3 when you press the
AMCS knob. The tracks being recorded will be
numbered automatically.
Using the Recording Auto Stop
function...
The Recording Auto Stop function automatically
stops recording about one minute after the
recording source input (such as a midnight radio
show) stops, as long as the Level Sync function is on.
This function is useful if you do not wish to
record after the source input stops. The function
is disabled if the Level Sync function is off.
Note
• If you are recording the tracks from a CD that
has intervals greater than one minute, the
Recording Auto Stop function automatically
stops recording. To continue recording such a
CD, turn the Level Sync off.
• This function is disabled during the CD dubbing
operation.
