5. Special functions
5.1 Converter mode
NOTE
In converter mode, no bypass function is available and all
bypass-related warning messages are disabled.
In converter mode, the UPS system always works with a specifically
defined output frequency (50 Hz or 60 Hz) regardless of which input
frequency (40 Hz to 70 Hz) is present. A fixed output frequency
is required, for example, for sensitive consumers.
1. Press any button to activate the menu options. Select
"SETTINGS", "USER SETTINGS" and then "FREQUENCY
CONVERTER".
2. Select "ENABLED" and confirm using the
button.
3. Then switch to "OUTPUT FREQUENCY".
4. Select "50 Hz" or "60 Hz" and confirm using the
button.
If the mains power supply is malfunctioning, the UPS system auto-
matically switches to battery mode (the frequency is maintained).
The load will be supplied as long as there is sufficient battery capaci-
ty. After the mains power supply returns, the UPS system switches
back to convertor mode.
