7.4.1 Replacing the internal batteries of the tower model

CAUTION

The internal batteries of the UPS system are heavy. Use
caution when handling the heavy batteries.

The internal batteries are located behind the front cover of the UPS
system. For better handling, the internal batteries are packaged to-
gether.

1. Remove the front cover of the UPS system (see Figure 14).

To remove the cover, press the upper side downwards and
pull the cover forwards the same time.

NOTE

The LCD display and control panel is connected to the UPS
system by a ribbon cable. Do not pull on the cable and do
not separate the connection.
