Washing the ear molds
The ear molds should be washed regularly:
•
Disconnect the ear mold and the tubing from the
sound hook of the hearing instrument as shown.
Always hold the hook firmly, when pulling off the
ear mold and tubing. Otherwise the instrument
may be damaged.
•
Wash the ear mold in lukewarm water using
a mild soap. Do not use strong detergents.
•
Rinse with water.
•
Dry the ear mold.
•
Any water drops inside the ear mold or tubing
should be blown out. A special device for this
purpose (an ear mold blower) is available from
your Hearing Care Professional.
