1) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of the appliance; and
2) The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can
be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-prong
cord.
e. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse power cord, power plug or appliance in water

nearest authorised Optimum/Froothie Service Centre for examination and/or repair.
j. Any maintenance, other than cleaning, should be performed at an authorised Optimum/Froothie
Service Centre.
k. This appliance is for household use only. Do not use this appliance for anything other than its
intended use. Do not use in moving vehicles or boats. Do not use outdoors. Misuse may cause
injuries.
l. The installation of a residual current device (safety switch) is recommended to provide additional
safety protection when using electrical appliances. It is advisable that a safety switch with a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30mA be installed in the electrical circuit supplying the
appliance. See your electrician for professional advice
