The saw belt is being tensed with the handwheel.
Turn the handwheel clockwise to increase the ten-
sion in the saw belt.
The saw belt is at the right tension when the mark-
ing coincide with the scale:
500 kgs/cm
2
up to 600 kgs/cm
2
for standard metal
saw belts,
650 kgs/cm
2
up to 750 kgs/cm
2
for bi-metal saw
belts.

INFORMATION
Do not strain the saw belt more than necessary. The
saw belt could be overstretched and become
warped.

The saw belt must fit on the shoulder of the two saw
belt rollers when running.
Use the "set screw saw belt roller“ in order to adjust
the position of the saw belt roller,
if the rear side of the saw belt does neither touch nor
fit on the step of the saw belt rollers when running.
