• Use accessories delivered with this appliance only! Never

• Do not use hard material like deep frozen food, hard cheese
rind, hard bread or uneatable parts of food like bones, gristle,
stalk, fruit stones etc…
• After each use switch off, unplug and clean the unit as
described in “Cleaning and maintenance”.

Before first use
• Remove all packing material and plastic bags.
• Place the appliance on a dry, stable and non-slip surface.
• Unroll the cord completely.
• When using for the first time little smell might occur, this is
harmless and will stop after a while.
Operation
Caution risk of injury! During operation and when plugged
always keep fingers, hair, cloth and other objects away from
the beaters and dough hooks, to avoid being gripped .
Caution ! Danger of scalding! Do not mix hot liquid to
avoid danger of scalding by splashing liquid.
Caution! Before mounting or removing beaters or dough
hooks always switch off and unplug to avoid risk of injury!
Fixing the beaters and dough hooks

• Insert the beaters (or dough hooks) into the holes provided
and turn slightly till a click sound indicates engaging. The
beaters (dough hooks) must be mounted firmly for correct
function. Otherwise damage is not excluded. To release the
beaters (dough hooks) just press the big ejection button.
Switching on
Caution! Please mount beaters or dough hooks exactly in
the right positions according to the descriptions!
• Fill the food to be mixed into the stirring bowl. Plug in and
before switching on immerse the beaters (or dough hooks)
into the food. This avoids splashing. Then turn the speed
control button to level 1. When starting any mixing process,
start with low level first. By and by turn to higher levels. This
will guarantee gentle processing and will save the unit from
overheating and capacity overload.
• Your hand mixer provides different speed levels.
• Pressing the turbo button will accelerate the level adjusted as
long as the turbo button is kept pressed.
Switching off
• Put the speed control button into 0 (OFF) position and
unplug
.
Dismantling
• Always switch OFF and unplug the unit before changing or
removing any parts. To dismantle press the big ejection button
to release the beaters (or hooks). Remove the beaters gently,
to avoid damage .
Tips for use
• Always immerse the beaters or dough hooks into the food
before switching on. This can avoid splashes. Use the beaters
for processing egg white, cream, mayonnaise, pudding, puree
and light pastries.
• The dough hooks are intended for dispersing dough (use low
level only! High speed levels can cause overheating!)
• Never try to mix very hard objects. The unit is not designed
for that!
Operation with stirring bowl
• Place the hand mixer stand on a dry, stable and non-slip
surface.
• Position the stirring bowl in the middle of the stand.
• Put the hand mixer onto the stand and fix it firmly.
• Tip the swivel arm of the stand upward by pressing the swivel
arm opening at the back inwards. Now attach the beaters (or
hooks) by putting them through the holes provided till both
are engaged. Make sure they both are fixed firmly.
• Lower the swivel arm and let the beaters immerse into the
food before starting the mixing process.
• When starting any mixing process, start with low level first.
By and by turn to higher levels. This will guarantee gentle
processing and will save the unit from overheating and
capacity overload.
